Painted Feathers

Mark uses acrylic paint, a tiny brush and lots of patience to render these natural feathers into a one of a kind piece of art. Using mostly wild and domestic turkey feathers, Mark dyes, shades and stripes the feathers to match the desired colours before he paints the subject. The completed feather is then float mounted and framed in a shadow box frame with suede matting.
